Good, but not great. Thrissur really needs a better shawarma place, and Al Taza is decent but not exceptional. I tried their dine-in area once and didn’t really like the atmosphere ,it feels a bit dull.
But as a take-out spot, they do a great job. You can park right in front, place the order from your car, and the staff will assist you. They even help guide you back onto the busy road, which is convenient.
As for the food — the shawarma is good, but nothing special or standout. That said, I still think they’re probably the best shawarma option in the Thrissur town area right now."

The shawarma at Al-tasa is honestly amazing. We tried their Al-taza Special Full Meat Shawarma packed with flavour and perfectly balanced. The Burger Shawarma was also really good, offering something a bit different but equally tasty. What makes Al taza stand out is the authentic Middle Eastern touch it reminds you of the shawarma you’d get in the UAE.Their preparation is spot-on, and the place is impressively clean. You can actually visit their kitchen anytime that’s how confident they are about their quality and freshness. The meat is always fresh, and the overall experience feels genuinely authentic. Definitely worth trying!

Its a must try place for shawarma lovers..
The food was outstanding — every dish i tried here bursting with flavor and beautifully presented.
They have also a Qr option for ordering, so no time wasting any more..

One of the finest shawarma spot in thrissur
Their shawarmas quality was good
Service was also very nice
We had tried their special shawarma and normal shawarma both was good
I dont prefer their mojitos as its not the real mojito and its overpriced too
Parking facilities are available in the front of the shop and 50 meters away from their shop

The Awaited Al Taza in Thrissur

Summary : The Shawarma is Above Average but nothing Great. Quantity, For the Price is low.

Al Taza shawarma doesn't really live upto it's hype. I mean for an average shawarma you get everywhere else, this is Really good.. But maybe it's the hype, it was a bit underwhelming...
The bread that you get with Hummus Shawarma is 👌👌. The Whole meat shawarma is also good.
TASTE - 8.5

The Quantity is the Major Issue. We bought
1. Whole Meat Shawarma roll - Rs.185
2. Plate Shawarma (100g chicken) - Rs.260
3. Hummus Shawarma - Rs.260

The Quantity is really low for the price. Yes price okke koodaanu ellaayidathum, but still, the whole meat shawarma is just slightly bigger than your palm✋️.
The plate shawarma also had really less chicken.
Quantity (for the price) - 6.0

Ambience - 7.0
Service - 7.8

Overall - 8.0
