A bit overpriced for what they taste like. But excellent shawarmas overall.

The problem I saw with this outlet is that the cashier always tries to discourage you before placing the order.

He always says the order will take around 25- 30 minutes, and due to this at least 30-40% of the people will drop.

I have experienced this during my last couple of visits. And, contrary to what he said my Shawarma was delivered with in 7-10 mins both times.

I think he doing this because either needs to wrap things up quickly and go home rather than selling Shawarma or he is poorly trained.

Service is also sluggish; there is a high scope for improvement! The Kochi outlet was better, both in terms of taste and service.

Have been loyal customer of Al Taza for the past 5 years. Whenever me and my friends visit allapuzha we try to make a stop at al taza . Have tried their standard shawarama , plate shawarama , jumbo shawarama and al taza special shawarama. The jumbo and whole meat are similar tasting and are good . Juices and Shakes are just okay !

Been a loyal fan since their opening day at the Kaloor branch — their shawarma was always a standout. Recently visited their Alappuzha branch after a long gap, and while the taste still holds up, the dining experience has taken a hit. They’ve now opted for recycled disposables even for dine-in, which feels cheap and underwhelming. Sustainability aside, proper cutlery is expected in a dine-in setting. A disappointing shift — hence, two stars down.

We are frequent customers of Kaloor Al Taza.. And was pleasantly surprised to see their new outlet on Alappuzha.. Have to say the quality and taste is better than the original Kochi outlet.. Hope this is maintained this way

Al Taza Shawarma Shop offers a satisfying experience with flavorful, well-seasoned shawarmas that come in generous portions, packed with juicy meats, fresh veggies, and delicious sauces. The casual and clean ambiance is perfect for a quick bite or a laid-back meal with friends, and the friendly staff adds to the welcoming vibe. Prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity, making it a solid value for money. Popular choices include the chicken shawarma with garlic sauce and the mixed meat plate, which are both packed with authentic Middle Eastern flavors. Overall, Al Taza is a top spot for anyone craving a hearty and tasty shawarma meal.
