Is this really the same Al Taza as the one in Kochi?
I was so happy to hear that the taste I experienced in Kochi would finally be available in Thodupuzha, but I left highly disappointed.
I ordered the Al Taza Special Shawarma and a lime juice. The salad served with the shawarma was terrible, and the chilli had such an odd taste that I had to spit it out after taking a bite. The shawarma itself was nowhere near the quality or taste of what they serve in Kochi.
To make matters worse, the hygiene inside the dining area was very poor. There were flies everywhere, and there was a lot of food waste on the floor, making the place feel unclean.
Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. I hope they improve both the food quality and the cleanliness.
