Al Taza has easily become one of the best spots in Kollam for a mid-evening shawarma fix. The shawarma is consistently awesome tender meat, great seasoning, and genuinely unbeatable value for money. The place maintains solid hygiene standards, which adds to the overall comfort, and the staff are professional and quick with service. A dependable stop if you want good food without any disappointment.

We ordered one falafel shawarma and one special chicken shawarma - the total costs Rs 355. Quality wise good but on the quantity side, it's very overpriced.
You can easily reach here - located near KFC, Polayathodu. Some parking space available in front of the outlet.

What impressed me most was their disciplined and fast service—it’s very well organized. Tried most of their main items and liked them all, would rate everything 4 out of 5. Only downside was the mojito, which felt average.

Al Taza has rightfully earned its reputation as a top-tier shawarma destination, and their unwavering commitment to quality and generous portions is truly unmatched.

We opted for the plate shawarma with hummus and the spicy full meat plate shawarma, and both delivered on Al Taza's promise of flavor and abundance.

The plate shawarma was a harmonious blend of perfectly marinated and thinly sliced meat – tender, juicy, and boasting that signature Al Taza seasoning that keeps you coming back for more. The accompanying hummus was creamy, smooth, and had just the right tanginess, creating a delightful contrast to the savory shawarma. Each bite was a satisfying combination of textures and tastes.

Now, the spicy full meat plate shawarma was a fiery delight for those who enjoy a kick. The same high-quality meat was infused with a robust blend of spices, delivering a pleasant heat that wasn't overpowering but certainly added an exciting dimension to the flavor profile. The aroma alone was enough to make your mouth water! What truly stood out was the sheer quantity of meat – the "full meat" designation is no exaggeration. The plate was piled high with succulent, spiced shawarma, making it a truly substantial and satisfying meal.

In both plates, the quality of the ingredients shone through. The meat was fresh and flavorful, the hummus was expertly prepared, and the overall experience reinforced why Al Taza remains a favorite for shawarma lovers. If you're looking for a shawarma experience that doesn't compromise on taste or quantity, Al Taza continues to be a top contender🤍.

I tried the Jumbo Shawarma from here, having previously tried it at their Ernakulam branch. The shawarma was quite filling, but the pricing wasn’t on the lower side. The taste was okay, and the service was reasonably quick. I felt the shawarma could’ve had a better balance of crispy and juicy textures. Overall, a decent experience, and I’m open to trying more items from here in the future.
